[julian|abraham] – Single Tits EP
“Finally, Julian Abraham released his first EP album with the title SINGLE TITS. This is not relevant to the format of DOUBLE TITS that is familiar to us. Overall, this album sounds pretty cheery. It contains blends of various unfamiliar and rare sounds (odd) with familiar samples (even). With a simple composition, Julian Abraham reflects innocence, with the potential to destroy the dance floor. Compositions that are “friendly” formed, are making this album enjoyable for a variety of purposes (multi-purpose-kit). Similar but not the same. That’s the message he has installed. This album is designated for Digital Perverts, Mainstream Geeks, Copycat Coders, Quack Engineers, Charlatan Songwriters, DJ Impostors, Stockhausen Slaves, Mountebank Activists, Dissembler Yahoo Users. Hypocrisy Electronic Musician, Con-Artist, and all the homeless geek in the world”- breakcore_LABS

“It’s too hard to explain about this album. Need help for reviewing this one. Not so many changes in my musical context to keep exploring any possibilities, as the appreciation for music, and technology.

[julian|abraham] – Maya!
Another release. For this album, I mixed many different sound samples from the internet that are available to download: thankyou for Google and all the people who upload it and share it. It’s worth more than you can imagine. The basic concept of this album is to continue the idea of plunder-phonic introduced by John Oswald, where I (it is supposed to be we), only mixed all the samples that I got from the “maya/cyberspace” and borrowed it to make a new form from it, challenging my “sense” to producing this “easy listening music album”. Considering that I didn’t create any of the sound by myself, it’s too far fetched. I was totally in the mood of avant-garde composition with a lot of musicians playing around and felt happy about it. In several tracks you will hear some famous sound sample that maybe you already heard, like the drum pattern on the intro of “come on my selector” from Squarepusher, also the drum pattern on the intro of “start the riot” from Atari Teenage Riot. Plus: Amen, Glitch, movie sound samples (“B” rated they say), etc. For the illustration, I really want to say a big THANKSSS!!! to Astronot1945 for letting me use one of his creation to be the artwork for this album. This album is dedicated to everyone who know, like, or hate anything about John Oswald, Wage Rudolf Supratman, Ahmad Dhani, and Terbujur Kaku. For me, producing this album is one little way to push us in the mood to share and create.

[julian|abraham] – Voided!
I finished this album after my lovely “gnubmak” and me have to separate. I felt struggle inside the “Void”, definable as : insecure, cold, clueless, no movement, and somewhat resulting in unpredictable destructiveness. Perhaps, that is the basic description for this album. What I tried to do in this album was only use a minimum set of sequencers and synthesizers (all virtual). Mixing up shapes of noise and harmony, beep, click, glitch, harmonium, piano, lo-fi bass. This album took me on another journey of exploring the richness of electronic music. However, it is still another “blue music album” with a lot of “Grey, White and Red”. The afterthought: technology cannot replace the very fundamental needs of our everyday life.
